Admission Requirements
Cauvery Institute of Law welcomes applications from students who meet our academic standards and demonstrate a genuine commitment to legal education and professional excellence.
Our admission process is designed to identify candidates who possess the academic foundation, intellectual curiosity, and ethical values necessary for success in the legal profession.
Programme-wise Eligibility Criteria
5-Year B.A. LL.B. (Integrated)
Educational Qualification
- 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board
- Any stream (Science, Commerce, Arts)
- Minimum 50% marks in aggregate
- 45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates
Age Criteria
- Maximum age: 20 years as on July 1st
- Age relaxation: 3 years for SC/ST
- Age relaxation: 2 years for OBC
Entrance Examination
- Valid CLAT score OR
- Institutional entrance test
3-Year LL.B.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- From a recognized university
- Minimum 45% marks in graduation
- 40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates
Age Criteria
- Maximum age: 30 years as on July 1st
- Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST
- Age relaxation: 3 years for OBC
Entrance Examination
- Valid CLAT score OR
- Institutional entrance test
Reservation Policy
Cauvery Institute of Law follows the reservation policy as per Government of Karnataka guidelines.

- 10th standard mark sheet and certificate
- 12th standard mark sheet and certificate
- Bachelor's degree certificate (for LL.B.)
- All semester mark sheets (for LL.B.)
- Transfer certificate
- Migration certificate (if applicable)
- CLAT scorecard or entrance test result
Personal Documents
- Aadhar card copy
- Passport size photographs (6 copies)

Special Considerations
Sports Quota
Special consideration for students with outstanding achievements in sports at state/national level
Cultural Activities
Recognition for exceptional performance in cultural activities, debates, and competitions
Social Service
Preference for candidates with demonstrated commitment to social service and community work

- Incomplete applications will not be considered
- Age is calculated as on July 1st of the admission year
- Admission is subject to verification of documents
- False information may lead to cancellation of admission
